In article “Popular and Highbrow Literature: A Comparative View” Peter Swirski makes a stand for popular fiction comparing it with highbrow literature. He researches sociological and aesthetic aspects of these kinds of literature and adduce arguments in order to elucidate the main peculiarities, common and distinctive features of highbrow and popular literature.
Trying to outline some of the most persistent criticisms brought to bear on popular fiction, Peter Swirski follows the analysis developed by Herbert J. Gans in his ground-breaking study of contemporary taste cultures, Popular Culture and High Culture.

My name is Mariya Lapetina, I`m 13 years old. I have been studying languages for 4 years in Linguist. I love this place, it gives me knowledge, I can speak to my friends and compare results.
My school is one of the ordinary in my town Yevpatoriya, so I can not know languages properly. Lingvist is open to us many in different ways, for example, if we travel to other country, we will communicate with people without any mistakes, we can take part in many competitions, plays, games and so on.
I go to lingvist for two years and during that time I learned a lot. First, I coped with their problems in grammar and pronunciation, and most importantly learned a lot of new words and become more confident to speak.
